13 Oct Markets Debut for Caz Creations!
Local markets are a fantastic way to find beautiful handmade products that are unique and made with love. When you buy local, you support the individual and your local community. For the last 2 years I’ve been selling my artworks online with a wonderful response but it was always my dream to take it further and attend designer markets where I could offer my artworks for sale. Well, it’s been a crazy few months researching, preparing, designing, printing, and mounting copious amounts of artworks past 1am, but I finally opened my very first market stall this year!
I was incredibly nervous arriving at dawn to setup at my first market – it was a foreign, bustling environment where everywhere you looked someone was either mounting marquees, draping tables or organising displays. But I soon discovered how beautiful the stallholder community is – and the lovely patrons along the way! My nerves quickly disappeared and made way for a fun and exciting day ahead.
So far I’ve been attending various markets around the Southeast Queensland area (Gold Coast, Brisbane, Toowoomba) with plans to expand down south to Byron Bay. What an amazing experience! I’ve received such lovely feedback and met some awesome people – it’s so much fun and has been worth all the hard work to get to this point!
